Tyrone in 1996 and for the past 20 years he has been employed in the food industry for national, international and multinational food manufacturing and service industries including Coca-Cola, Kerry Group and more recently with Ecolab.
During this time Ferghal held a variety of positions ranging from quality control, technical services, sales, people management, administration and logistics.
Ferghal is computer literate in Microsoft packages and has excellent presentation and people skills.
He has also a proven ability to manage and complete projects to a high level across a range of disciplines.
Following a period of ill health Ferghal founded Acorn TCC to help provide training and technical support to all types of food manufacturing businesses to ensure all legislative requirements are adhered to by the clients. To ensure Acorn TCC are providing an effective service the company is a recognised training centre through Highfield and Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) and Ferghal himself is also the primary accredited trainer for the courses Acorn TCC provide.
Ferghal continues to improve his knowledge and he is constantly upskilling and taking refresher courses. In order to provide continued excellent service to Acorn TCC’s clients Ferghal has recently attained RSPH Level 4 in HACCP Management for Food Manufacturing. This has now allowed Acorn TCC add new courses to their expanding portfolio.
Affiliate membership from Chartered Institute of Environmental Health received in May 2017.
Following this Ferghal shall be undertaking a 3rd Party Lead Auditor course in late 2017 to help prepare his clients for forthcoming audits by leading awarding / governing / retailing bodies.
